What this site collects

Nothing. The site uses no cookies, no visitor analytics and no tracking, and the booking form sends no data to any server of ours: it composes a message that opens in your email or messaging app, and only reaches us if you send it.

The map is loaded from OpenStreetMap, which receives your device's IP address in order to display it. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical connection data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the pages.

When you write to us

If you send us a request by email or WhatsApp, we process your name, contact details, dates, number of guests and whatever you write in the message.

• Purpose: to answer your request and, if you book, to manage your stay.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and performance of the accommodation contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)); compliance with legal obligations, including tax and the registration of foreign guests (art. 6(1)(c)).
• Retention: requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months; booking data is kept for the periods required by law (accounting and tax).
• Who else processes the data: your email provider or WhatsApp (Meta), depending on the channel you choose.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to processing, by writing to reservas@arcos61.pt. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.
